Exercising Your
Right To Vote
There are many people in the United States of America who don't vote in the
primaries or general government elections because they lost their opportunity
to vote, their freedom and right to help choose the leaders of this great
free country because of some stupid decisions on their part. Even worse,
there are people who don't vote because they could care less.
Is Your Vote
Worthless?
You're one little (and some people think "worthless") vote actually makes
a big difference in a government election when added up with all the other
"worthless" votes that go uncast. If all the people who didn't care
to vote in the 2000 election actually took the time to vote, it's possible
a different U.S. President would be sitting in office from the year 2000 to
2004.
Not Every Government
Is Free
Billions of people world-wide don't have the same privilege to vote in free
government elections which you've been guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution
and it's amendments.
Don't sit by idle, make a decision
and choose the next local, county, state and federal government leader(s)
by casting your vote.
Billions Don't
Have The Opportunity
It's almost civil blasphemy not to vote in a FREE
election knowing there are billions of people around the world that don't
have the same rights to vote in any type of government election.
They would probably appreciate
and exercise the right to add their opinion to the process if they had the
chance to vote in any government election.
Debates - Why
Debating Is Important
Debates or the debating process before any government election is not exactly
the most interesting of subjects, I have to admit, but to find out the position
of a given candidate, it's almost imperative if not crucial people in a free
country watch a debate when it's aired over the radio or television.
Other than meeting a candidate
live, getting information about what their position is via snail mail or visiting
their website, a debate is the best and most time efficient way to find out
what they think and believe.
So, next time there's a debate
or you find out a couple or more candidates will go through the debating process,
bite your lip and tune in to do your "due diligence."
Just Do It
Please consider voting and coaxing others to vote as well.
